How to play: Connect 4
Two players, an upright board of 7 columns and 6 rows. The first to get four discs of their colour in a row wins.
- Taking turns, each player drops a disc into a column: it falls to the lowest free slot.
- Line up four discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win.
- If the board fills up without four in a row, the game is a draw.
- In ranked games you win or lose Elo depending on your opponent’s level.
Tips and options
- Click a column or press keys 1-7.
- The host chooses a clock per player (1, 3 or 5 minutes) or time per move. If yours runs out, you lose.
- In the rematch, whoever played second goes first.
