Zampabolas: maze arcade
Run the maze, eat the pellets and use the big ones to hunt the ghosts: Chispa chases you, Rosi cuts you off, Bruma traps you and Pachorra gets scared. 8 mazes; play solo, co-op or versus.
- Players: 1 to 2
- Elo-ranked games: Yes
How to play: Zampabolas
A maze arcade game for 1 or 2 players: eat every pellet in each maze without getting caught by the four ghosts.
- Move with the arrows or WASD, swiping on the maze or with the on-screen pad. You can press the turn before reaching the junction: it happens as soon as it fits.
- Each pellet is worth 10 points. The big ones (50) scare the ghosts for a while: then you can eat them (200, 400, 800 and 1,600 in a row).
- Each ghost has its own character: Chispa chases you, Rosi gets ahead of you, Bruma traps you together with Chispa and Pachorra comes closer… and gets scared.
- The side tunnels take you out the other end (they slow the ghosts down). Twice per level a bonus fruit appears in the centre.
- Clear the maze to level up (+1,000): there are 8 mazes, and each level the ghosts get faster, are scared for less time and get smarter.
Tips and options
- You start with 3 lives and earn one more at 10,000 points.
- Co-op: you clear the maze together and share a pool of lives (3 + 1). Versus: each with their own lives; the highest score wins.
- The host chooses the mode, the difficulty, the starting level and how many levels you must clear to win (or endless).
- If you disconnect while playing solo, the game pauses until you’re back.
- The ranked game is the 1-on-1 versus, between people only (no bots). Solo and co-op don’t count for Elo.
Gobble every pellet in the maze without getting caught by the ghosts.
